Tiêu, ngò, tỏi cho vào cối giã nát. Đổ hỗn hợp này ra nồi cùng với tất cả gia vị phía trên, bắc lên bếp nấu sôi là tắt bếp, để nguội.
Thịt bò rửa sạch, thấm khô, thái miếng hơi mỏng và to bản. Cho thịt bò vào tô, đổ hết nước gia vị vào cùng với mè và ớt khô, trộn đều. Ướp thịt để qua đêm trong ngăn mát tủ lạnh.
Qua 1 đêm miếng thịt bò sẽ có độ cứng, sẫm màu. Bây giờ xếp thịt lên vỉ, đem ra phơi nắng cho thật khô. Nhớ đậy 1 lớp khăn mỏng lên trên để thịt đỡ bụi nhé!
Bắc chảo dầu lên bếp (không cần nhiều dầu). Chờ dầu nóng (đừng để dầu quá nóng) thì cho từng lát thịt bò khô vào chiên với lửa vừa. Khi miếng thịt chuyển màu đỏ sậm là thịt chín, gắp thịt ra đĩa có lót giấy thấm dầu.
Chờ khô bò ngọt nguội hoàn toàn thì cho vào hũ kín, bảo quản trong ngăn mát tủ lạnh.
